About Us

SPI Semicon Asia, Inc. (“SPI”), originally SPI Semicon Philippines, Inc., is a Philippines based company incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) in 1998 for the purpose of manufacturing and supplying products to the global Semiconductor Industry.

In 1999, we opened our factory located at First Cavite Industrial Estate (“FCIE”), an accredited Philippines Economic Zone Authority (“PEZA”) area located in the City of Dasmarinas, Cavite. Our core business began with the manufacturing of integrated circuit (“IC”) shipping tubes using the plastic extrusion process and has since expanded to include plastic injection/molding as well as tooling fabrication and repair.

Along with our affiliate company, SPI/Semicon North America, we offer end to end products and services in the manufacturing and distribution of protective packaging utilizing plastic extrusion, injection molding, and vacuum-forming methods. Our products include customized antistatic IC shipping tubes and other plastic extrusion products, end plugs and pins, IC trays, wafer jars and accessories, plastic reels, power module housing/casing and other plastic injection molding products, among others.

Our services also include fabrication and repair of tooling that we require for our development of plastic products as well as offer this same service to external customers.
